Reviews:

"With a sound like this, it had to come from the States. AT ANY COST is a highly respected American act, yet very young. The band was formed in Ì96, and todayÌs line-up is: Rich-guitar, Derek-guitar, Neil-vocals, Jeff-bass and Gregg on drums. Personally I just love such hateful street acts like AT ANY COST, cozÌ theyÌre always so inventive and so fuckinÌ full of energy! This 31 min. album was exactly what I needed these hot boiling days÷There are eight cuts on this great stuff, each being very well played and anyone sees how much heart these guys put into their music. They make a very powerful hardcore, combined with thrashÌn metal! It rules supreme÷I would put them between MERAUDERand MACHINE HEAD÷I appreciate this raw sound, and it will surely put all of you in the right mood÷sometimes some really cool slow riffs are played, creating a great Grind/Death Metal feeling÷ÏSeen Through Shattered EyesÓ is definitely a great debut album, and no one should underestimate this stunning American act! The future will surely bring us something  even cooler, I have the highest expectations." -9-

"I've heard these guys pigeonholed as a hardcore band. Although their certainly are hardcore elements to At Any Cost's music, it is so much more on the whole. They genre hop from death metal, to thrash, hardcore, even a bit of black metal can be heard from time to time. Sounds like METAL to me!! Great stuff... VERY heavy, grooving, with vocals that are a cross between Phil Anselmo and George Corpsegrinder Fisher, with the occasional black metal-ish screech. The most accurate comparison, in my opinon, would be EYEHATEGOD on speed. The sludge, the anger, the depressive feel of EHG is there, it is just as if EYEHATEGOD were doped up on caffeine and decided to kick things up a few knotches and thrash out. This is a very solid and listenable album that I find myself spinning surprisingly often. I'd wager that they are incredible in a live situation. 9/10"
